Maiden on Piano.....

Well done I would say, it helps clarify the individual notes and melody when they sometimes cover each other in the original. This is another reason I enjoy the MaidenS, because I can more distinctly hear passages or rolls.

I do, however, think the String Quartet Tribute to Maiden is richer, fuller (4 instruments?) and more listenable.

I got that CD. It is basically Karaoke Maiden more or less. Everything on there is instrumental.

If you see that CD in a store somewhere BE SURE to buy it.

It is worth the price of the CD just to hear the piano versions of "Brave New World" and "Hallowed be thy name."

That is what those 2 songs should have always sounded like, but never have. Well, musically anyways not voically.

I'm pretty partial to that one myself though for more personal reasons. :) My good friend Jim Sitterly ( whom I am forever grateful to because he is the reason I am in this band - he gave my name to the girls- bless him!) is the violinist in that quartet. He's a total monster player - one of the top LA session guys so many of you have probably heard his work without realizing it - and one of the very few classically trained players that I know who can solo like a mofo! Completely amazing improvisational skills and one of the craziest and coolest people I know!! :worship:

solo like a mofo???
ROFLMAO!:lol::lol::lol:
aja you truly crack me up.
also i sent an email to bruceleechickenson, i hope you got it & we can pass it around, i don't know how to...

If the guy is that good on the violin, I am surprised he is not playing for a chamber symphony orchastra?
He is one of the best and most successful violinists in Los Angeles and he plays for many many major television, film and commercial orchestras - among them the television series Lost- which is no small feat as these are among the most prestigious gigs an orchestral player can have! If there's a real orchetra playing he is probably in it - and often in the first chair and if there's a solo - that's probably him, too!

Yes skott - like a mofo! :lol::lol::lol:
No, I didn't get your email. :mad: PM me with the email addy you used and let's see if we can get to the bottom of this!
