Hells bells I knew a few days ago that this was going to be on the radio but then I totally forgot all about it. Was it any good and did they happen to mention if they were going to come to Scotland any time soon cos I was sure I heard at the start of the year they were going to play Glasgow but they played London and Ireland but no Scottish date. Would love to see Maiden again.

Great stuff Wilks glad you're liking Budgie. I meant to ask you a few days ago what you thought about them. Yeah they are totally rockin, good old fashioned rock n roll at its best. They are absolutely brilliant and I still don't really understand why they're not a lot bigger. They were quite big in the early 80s but now they just play quite small venues, and can't even fill them!!!! Right enough I stopped listening to them for a few years and when I saw them last November that was the first time I'd seen them for maybe 10 years or something and they just totally blew me away they were that sensational. Long live Budgie - they are my 2nd fav band on the planet.
