Not Siberia
I was thinking about him this evening, and then it dawned on me that it's almost been a year since he died.

Not quite, but close enough.

sadly, I don't think I really appreciated him until after he was gone.

Truly a quality individual.

Yessir indeed. At times my faith in this board was at a low *snort* he was a beacon of awesome here. His sense of humor was surely an inspiration to us all.

Lizard's seemingly untimely death has encouraged me to pay more attention to life. I was struck by the way he was just sitting there at his desk, cracking jokes, then suddenly, his body cashed in its chips.

I started posting around here just as lizard passed. I never knew him myself but occasionally a thread is bumped in which he took part. It is easy to see why you guys hold him in such high esteem. I would have liked to been around during his time here.

Didn't get to talk to him as much as most of you have, but when I did converse with him, it was always great... hell, he even tried to help me with quiting smoking (which might I add, I have not, but he did try to help, which I appreciate greatly none the less).

Great fucking man he was.

Dang. I still miss that dude and think of him regularly.

Did he used to mail you things randomly? One time I got a SAY NO TO DRUGS t-shirt. One of those kids reaching for the stars motivational things, so I wore it whenever I did the drugs.

The best was when a standard letter envelope arrived, with one piece of paper in it, of the following image printed out:

LOL.jpeg

It wasn't signed. Nothing else was included. Just his return address on the envelope. Because lizard was the BEST.
