'Man of Our Times', and 'Changes'

I just heard these two AWESOME covers...I was especially blown away by the YES cover...

Are there any more of these GEMS lying around? I'm jonesing for some NEW material - and a show close to my house.....

Also, did you ever check out that program that I suggested?

These two covers were actually the only songs from Enchant I knew for years! I always rated them as the better of the songs on "Tales from Yesterday" and "Supper's Ready" but never tried anything other by the band until a few weeks ago.

Btw, I think there were two other tribute albums in the same series: The Moon Revisited (remake of Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon) and some Jethro Tull tribute (don't know it's name now). The bands who played the songs were the same as on Tales from Yesterday and Supper's Ready, but I'm not sure if Enchant were involved as well. (Anyone?) If so, it would be interesting to hear their remakes of Floyd and JT. I will have to check it out!

Hey guys

We did "Us and Them" for the Moon Revisited disc and actually a version of "Any colour you like " which should have been on the disc! Pauls groove is amazing on the drums with a serious bass slap and pluck! It is very funky! I only have a cassette version of it I play it all the time while driving. Maybe we will eventually get that out????? We did not appear on the JT disc!

Stockton to Malone I have not had a chance to check that out yet but will, I have my nose burried in my bass this week getting ready to lay down some bass lines very soon for number 7. We begin recording very soon!

Thanks for the info, ed. I think I'll get The Moon Revisited - I can get it pretty cheap and I'm really interested in your version of "Us and Them". I listened to "Changes" and "Man of Our Times" yesterday again and I liked them very much

Finally! I got the "Moon Revisited" album with the cover of "Us and Them" yesterday and completed the trio of Enchant's covers. It is great! I like it more than the Pink Floyd original (I'm a fan of Pink Floyd but Us and Them didn't count to my favourites). It is also great to hear Ted singing in the choir at the end of Echoes...
