Man Repeatedly calls 911 to Demand Beer Delivery

It may have seemed like an emergency at the time, but a Connecticut man is now regretting his call to 911.

35-year-old Brian Poulin of Hebron was arrested Sunday after police said he called 911 several times and asked them to bring him beer.

Hebron was charged with disorderly conduct.

Police said he called 911 numerous times and told the dispatcher he was out of beer and asked them to pick up more for him.

Poulin was transported to Windham Community Memorial Hospital after officers arrested him at his home.

Police did not say what he was treated for.

He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Rockville on Nov. 20.

They should change the law so that when you prank call emergency services, the paramedics are legally obligated to injure you enough that you actually need one. You know, just so it wasn't a complete waste of time.

That's hilarious, don't be hating on this guy.

I still feel bad for that woman who called 911 because she was lonely and wanted to talk to someone. They slapped with a fine I'm pretty sure.

Meh, I think it's fair enough that Ambulances cost like a thousand dollars for a call. That's a thousand dollars this guy could have spent on beer and killed himself from alcohol poisoning.

With $1,000, he could've gotten some good import or craft brewed beer instead of the BMC type megaswill.
