thanks but I'm in this verizon plan for another year so I may as well stay with them since I'll be paying them anyway.

my dad passed out in his garage earlier this week and so they were checking him out and his arteries are like all gucked up so yeah, the operation is supposed to take four hours. the good part is that he found out about it now before he had a heart attack, plus the doctor says he has a very strong heart for an old guy.

still, any time they put you out, bad things can happen, so thx for the well wishes.

thx ... we're not very close but I am very concerned.

thankfully my Pennsylvania brother and my sister are there with my mom so she's not alone.

the funny thing is, the hospital staff will work like dogs to get him through this and then they'll have to put up with abuse because he is, even in my mom's words, "the world's worst patient."
