A stunning event exploring the heavier and more abrasive side of contemporary music headed up by Jesu, the emotionally compelling musical project devised by Justin Broadrick, an artist revered for his work with legendary bands Godflesh and Napalm Death. Jesu are joined by the raw and ferociously powerful Dead Fader, the Brighton based duo best known for their crunched up and distorted collision of dubstep, hip hop and electronica along with a DJ set from the industrial-edged and abstract Cloaks.

JESU

The noisy yet melodic shoegaze anthems of Jesu are the work of Justin Broadrick, the pioneering Birmingham based musician held in high regard for his legendary Godflesh project and through his essential input into the legendary Napalm Death. Their emotional and compelling sound draws from all corners of the musical spectrum, taking influence from ambient music, post-metal, industrial and doom metal, featuring crashing and densely layered guitars along with the feather-light vocals of Broadrick.

DEAD FADER

The sound of Brighton based production duo Dead Fader is not music for the faint hearted. Their incredible take on electronic music production explores the darker side of noise and industrial music with rugged drum machine patterns in place, over squalls of noise and heavy as hell, abrasive high-end sonics.

CLOAKS

Cloaks are considered to be one of the more abstract and uncompromising production teams to have emerged from the spannered and industrial-edged UK dubstep scene. Their distorted and often claustrophobic sound, created using found sound and circuit bent instruments was first debuted on the London based Werk Discs, with their output drawing comparison to not only modern bass music but to the darker sounds of noise and industrial.
