With the New Year quickly approaching, we'd like to make a couple announcements to close-up 2007.
First off we've gone ahead and scheduled the recording of our first full-length album for this coming January 2008. We will re-record all tracks off our debut demo "Through the Eyes of Insanity", along with 4 new songs, for a total of over 40 minutes of glorious metal. As on "Through the Eyes of Insanity" Elizabeth Schall will once again track all guitars and lead vocals while Michael Caffell will track all drums and back-up vocals.
Both members will shares tracking duties on bass.
Secondly, earlier this month we announced our decision to change the name of the project, and we involved our friends and fans in the process. Many of you questioned this decision and expressed your discontent, so we'd like to offer a more detailed explanation.
For a year and a half we called ourselves "Manslaughter". But this project had become such a greater vision and such a bigger commitment than we could have envisioned at the outset, we felt like we'd left behind the "Manslaughter" concept of the band long ago. Manslaughter is such a limited concept, and in dreams and death there is infinity.
So from this point on let it be known we are DREAMING DEAD
