Well, it really depends on your level of experience, and how much you want to committ. I would shy away from the pearl unless you are a beginner and will want to upgrade later. The export series are pretty shitty drums in pristine conditions, so to buy a 'heavily used' set of them is not the wisest investment in the world. the mapex kit looked alright, though I don't know where the V-series stands quality wise in their product line--whether it is bottom, middle or top of the line, though it looks to me like its probably bottom-middle like Yamaha's stage custom stuff.
