Marc Storace of Krokus

Just when you think things can't get any better I got an chance to interview Marc Storace who called from Switzerland this afternoon. Now after scoring with the Zak Stevens interview I figured, what are the odds of getting some "good" material from Marc?! I had no idea if he had a thick accent and I wouldn't be able to make out his responses to the questions. I mean there have been plenty of singers that sing extremely well in English, but their accent is so think that you can't make out a fucking sentence when you talk with them, i.e. Klaus from the Scorps. This of course is no fault of their own, after all English is their second langauge right? The interview went over well, I found out stuff about Marc and Krokus that I didn't even know! I had two fresh 60 mintue tapes on hand never once thinking that I'd need a second, but after the Zak Stevens fiasco I figured it would be best to have aback up. I had spoken with a fellow "amatuer" wanna be journalist ( for the record, I'm referring to myself here) and he stated that he was on the phone with Marc a week ago for about 45 minutes. So I thought 45 Minutes?! I have 45 minutes of material for him, little did I know that the conversation would last nearly two hours?!
:OMG:
In any event, he's one hell of a nice guy, they plan on touring the states soon. And we have a mutual friend, so it really is a fucking small world.
Interview coming soon...

Saw Krokus about a month ago, they were really tight! Knowing pretty much nothing about them beforehand, I was positively surprised. For a guy that's been in the business for about 30 years, Storace sounded amazing, actually better than in their 80s stuff I've heard.

Sounds like Krokus is doing 8 songs off Hellrasier along with the classics.

Well, if they pass by Belgium or Holland I will go and see them if possible. I allways liked their no-nonsens AC/DC-like stuff, well , in the 80's anyway, never heard their later recordings..
