Marduk is not as bad as people make them out to be around here.

That's not to say I don't prefer their early material.

Has anyone heard else the new live album its amazing!

Will have to check it out. Never understood why Marduk got as much heat as they seem to. I mean, yah, they are relatively "commercial" for a black metal band, but IMHO, they are easily the best of the "pop black metal" lot, when compared to other "big production, big budget, big label, etc..." BM bands, that is (i.e., emperor, Immortal, dimmu, etc...)....

Their early stuff, that sounded a little more underground, does kick ass, but I also think Panzer Division Marduk is a great album, and as someone else also commented, World Funeral is not too shabby either.

Marduk suck in my opinion. When I saw them the croud was ten times better. Everyone in the croud was like "LET JESUS FUCK YOU,LET JESUS FUCK YOU"etc for about 40 minutes.

That's Arioch from Triumphator and Funeral Mist...I haven't heard the new Marduk but I've heard his vocals aren't really up to the standards of those other two bands. Then again, he probably doesn't have all those different sound effects on his voice that he had on "Salvation", which I would have to say is my favorite vocal performance of his that I've heard.
