There seems to be a trend forming for really cheap barebone tube heads, perhaps instigated by Bugera? Not that I'm complaining

The Marshall headoffice/factory is literally down the road from where I live. It's kind of silly that it is cheaper in the US than to by here.

From what I've read these are basically Valvestate heads with the solid state components changed for valve ones. I know it's mean to be Marshalls affordable line but to be honest they're £440. I got my Marshall DSL50 for £500 a couple of years ago. Just looks like they're charging more for DSL's now so that the MA's look like a good deal.

I'm not too bothered though, as I'm very happy with my Peavey Windsor. Sounds better than my DSL ever did. If I was gonna pick up another Marshall it would probably be a Kerry King sig or a JVM.
