One of the most unique vocal styles, I love his old vocals.

His vocals on the classics well................just like the AD for Penetralia said in the old old Relapse Records catalog.......Forget Deicide, this fuckin kills...essential! And those albums are still good. Masse's vocals are good even in Dark Funeral! But like all, I do prefer Peter's!!

I don´t really want to listen the first two albums because of his vox.
Just not for me.

I personally think the first 2/3 albums lack atmosphere. Every now and then there's a bit of synth but to me it just sounds a bit.... bland. There's still some decent songs on those albums though. Masse's vox are great. Just listen to him go on God Among Insects - World Wide Death!!

Lol, he sucks bad on this album. His growling is no where near as good as it was when he was in Hypocrisy.

Fair enough. They've obviously been enhanced by technology in parts but I still like them. They're well suited for the style of death metal on that album. That album's probably one of my favourite DM releases tbh.

Another album I like is the Dominion Caligula one, 'A New Era Arises'. Totally different vox on there though.

Dominion Caligula owns, would be cool to hear another one of those albums.

But really, Masse cannot growl anymore, his voice is shot. If he could still sing like he used to with Hypocrisy, he'd be awesome.

Let me be honest for a moment. (yeah, I'm usually lying, :zombie: lol)

I used to really love the gutteral vocals, especially on Osculum Obscenum, and at first when Peter took over the vocal duties I was not happy.

However I was completely wrong. Peter is much better than I ever dreamed he could be!

I absolutely prefer Peter's voice now. That's not to say I can't listen to Osculum and love it, though. Those vocals were perfect for that album.

On my way Masse's vocal is a bit rude, while Peter's is strong and streight.
I think Peter is more professional in singing then Masse.

Peter's voice was rough on the Inferior Devoties e.p. and the fourth dimension albums! But its all good now!!!!:Smug:
