Hi everyone, as my first post here i want to know what is your "typical master session".
I know mastering is a really complex process and i DO NOT want to know your EQ,comp settings, just let me know what gear you use and if you work only digital or you use some analog outboards.
For example, i work with plugins like this insert chain: a multiband compressor, sonar boost plugin, a bunch of EQ, sometimes an harmonic exiter and a limiter.
just share your opinion!

thanks

Although having plugs on your 2 buss of a mix and having a separate dedicated mastering session set up are bit different.

Mastering for a single one off song,.. maybe you can get away with calling 2 buss processing "mastering"... but for more of a holistic approach, I think mastering should be removed from mixing in it's own right,.. especially when trying to get a group of songs to sit together.
