Mastodon injury

I don't know how many (if any) here are fans, but I think Mastodon is easily the best new metal band in America in the last several years. Anyway, Brent Hinds suffered, "..a severe head injury," in Las Vegas where the band was playing the MTV awards. Apparently he was attacked after their performance. There is little official info coming out, but there is some, and it's all to the tune of, "..major head trauma," and, "bleeding in the brain."

Hideous.

...as an update to this, it is now being reported that he will make a full recovery. All the details are a bit mysterious...

Apparently he was attacked, suffered a broken nose and head injury, and doesn't remember much (but is obviously awake and talking etc.).

A relief. A great band, and I hate to see someone in mortal danger as such....

Man that is great news. I don't know the band, but I sure hate to hear bad things happening to people especially fellow metal-heads. Hope he makes a full recovery and is back on the road soon.
