MASTODON - Revenge Gets Ugly EP

I've just been checking out Mastodon's new EP - Revenge Gets Ugly. Its the official score for the film Jonah Hex. I'm loving the production - similar vibe to Crack The Skye really. So dense and layered too.

Can anyone shed some light on who produced it, or any other production details whatsoever...

Can't give any details, but I assume Marco Beltrami may have added some orchestral arrangements or what of their stuff.
Also, the "Death March" track has a nice vibe to it. I can foresee it being used for a lot of movie trailers in the future.

Yeh man, they're stuff is so effortlessly cool compared to all the metalcore bull going round. I'm seriously loving the drum sound too... need to know details!

Funnily enough, Crack The Skye was the first thing they had ever recorded with a click track, and they still made it groove like a beast. Talented bastards!

the ep almost reminds me of a more rock/metal version of some pink floyd epics, especially Echoes.

really cool instrumentation and vibe they have going on. Crack the Skye and blood mountain are two of my fav albums ever, i seriously didn;t know how they'd better themselves after BM but damn did they just!

I really dug the instrumental cut of Crack the Skye, so this looks cool to me. The samples on Amazon sound awesome. Will definitely pick this one up.
