Matching images w/background

To anyone, mostly travis, but...

What are some of the best ways to match the lighting from lets say a photo of a person taken on a white background to a grassy feild on a normal lit day.. just cutting out the person and placing them over top just looks really foney, are there any interesting techniques to use to color correct and match accordingly?

yeah. shoot your subject in the same lighting conditions as the environment.

...also taking your pics in a studio helps, there you can excercise greater control on your light source...
