I'm building a new Micro ATX portable DAW and I was wondering why most people seem to go with the Intel P35 or P45 chipsets? I have been considering buying this motherboard:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128363

which has a Geforce 9400 chipset and will be using it with a Q6600 CPU and an M-audio 1010lt for my soundcard to run Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, and a few other programs. No other audio hardware will be used. I have also looked into the DFI Lan Party Boards.

What are your opinions on this hardware setup?

Can you make some suggestions on a good mATX MoBo or any other hardware? Will the 9400 chipset cause problems?

Thanks,
J.S.
