actually, i just thought this was a bunch of hairy guys who went to one of those photography places like Glamour Shots (only called Hot Shots!) where you get all buffed up and wear clothes you don't own/normally wear and try and look sexxxxxxy.

i dont understand how like, bands like this didn't realize that the 80's were a grave error in judgment and everyone is just trying to (a) forget it and deny it or (b) make it ironically funny and ressurect it as an affirmation of our continued stupidity.

another thing that makes me want to sort of bite my knuckles (like lenny/squiggy from laverne and shirley... sp?) is when people are like 'oh the 80's are my THING' or like 'mullets are my stlye! i've always loved them'... and they get all defensive about something so retarded...

it's like bahhhh bahhhh little sheep.
I just can hardly stand it anymore. I want to shake someone and say ‘do you like what you like because someone keeps showing it to you over and over until it is so familiar that you just THINK you like it and you end up defending your liking it out of paranoia and fear of being called a conformist????’. I am so sad for people. everyone is a conformist. It’s okay. but I hate that everyone always thinks that they have a ‘style’ all their own. Like, HELLO SORRY TO SAY BUT YOU ARE DEFINITELY INFLUENCED. No one is excluded from this list.
