This thread is in relation to the Last CD that you Bought thread, but I want to expand on it. As I read through peoples recent purchases I realized there were quite a few bands I have never listened to. Tell us more about your recent purchases, and why we should possibly buy the album as well. Please tickle our fancies.
My most recent purchase was Mother Earth by Within Temptation. A woman named Sharon den Adel, who has a wonderful operatic voice, fronts the band. The album is quite melancholic, the guitar riffs are both heavy and soft, and yes, a lot of keyboards. A very pleasing album, if I remember correctly they came up in a discussion I was having with someone about Nightwish, that should provide you some bearings. Anyway, a wonderful album, find it, listen, and love it.
