Mayhem is a good start also try Darkthrone-all, Burzum-all, Bathory-early
if you want raw BM but if you like folk metal you might like the newer material,
Immortal-all, True Black Dawn, Enochian Crescent and so forth.

Mayhem's De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas album is ok.. its overated in my opinion but its a good album to listen to once in awhile... the vocalist (Attila) sucks big time though.. I prefer Maniac and/or Dead... and the songs aren't structured well.. but alot of good riffs here and there. the guitar is nothing to praise neither.. i prefer their Chimera album...

Satyricons Dark medievel Time is good too, and yes you must buy 1349 Hellfire, it should be mandatory to buy that album. I like Emperor's Equilibrium though, Source Of Icon E is killer.
