MDB--Turn Loose the Swans

I've been listening to this album for a few yrs now. And one thing I have never determined, and was hoping maybe someone could help me, what is the photo/picture on the front of the cd or album? Thanx.

I believe it is a Virgin Mary statue that was melted. I could be wrong. I think that's totally metuhl (\m/ \m/)though so it's my preferred explanation.

And that's one of my top 10 albums of all time.

Close... It's a statue of the virgin mary from the neck down. The melted look is candle wax. I guess they had candles burning above it and the wax would drip onto the statue.

That's pretty cool. I actually just heard the album for the first time with a friend on Wednesday. It's weird since My Dying Bride were one of the bands that started out on.

Look for the praying hands out in front. Its' from the neck down, so no head is shown. It's just chest and torso of the figure, praying hands, and lots of wax. Andy told me years ago it was in their rehearsal room for awhile.

Which cover? I know there are like 3 or 4 different ones for that album, The cassette, the american version the euro version the re release too I think. That was made by the singer Aaron. He has a shit load of other cool covers that he maid along with a ton of other stuff. He's got some weird vision.
