anyone here into them?

reason being, I loved them long time back in the day, especially with their Too High to Die Cd, they were just too wierd for general consumption, I guess, not to mention Cris Kirkwood becoming a serious junkie. Their high point was probably being highlighted on Nirvana's unplugged CD.

Anyway, I see that Curt Kirkwood is going to be coming through Columbus on Mar 6....

Yes! Meat Puppets II is very muchly thusly fun!

That's the only one I have though, the song Teenagers cracks me up every time I hear it. First 45 seconds are totally chaotic noise and screams, then the next 3 minutes are smooth easy going shitz. Cool.

You're right. That album really reminds me of being a pothead teenager, not because I listened to it a lot (mostly just that Backwater song because it was a hit), but the fact that I saw the album in every drug den I ever visited back then.

I really like the stuff they did with Nirvana and I've always thought they're probably a pretty good band. Unfortunately, I've never had enough inspiration to confirm the truth of that.
