Well I know it has already been posted but these Two great bands are now history. The Slipknot news is all but announced. Megadeth has been one of my favorite bands and I am saddened by the news. Slipknot brought back metal and now too are gone...........................

It has not been officially announced yet, but I have some pretty reliable sources. If I am wrong about Slipknot, I would be happy, but I am pretty sure I am not. Slipknot breaking up just sucks!

As for Mustaine, Im extremely pissed that Dave gets screwed like this, because according to Megadeth, they were going to go back to the basics or something. They just put out their new album, which i think is great, and finished their tour, and now this happens.
We dont need anymore Heavy Metal bands getting screwed up like this. We need the few bands that have been around for a while to stick around a little longer, this way people like me will have something to listen to instead of the music of today that is masquerading as heavy metal. The keyword in Heavy Metal is HEAVY metal. The stuff of today just doesnt do anything for me, its slow and i dont find it the least bit heavy at all, but this is just one man's opinion.

Slipknot breaking up... it shouldn't be a shock to you people who like them. When they blew up, Joey repeatedly said in interviews that Slipknot will only last several albums. He said he didn't see much of a long term future for them... Oh well, thousands of more Slipknots will emerge soon after, who cares!
