Wow. It's the third time I've seen them and they still never fail to impress. Chris Broderick seems like he's been playing with them for years; he's absolutely perfect with Megadeth and complements Dave's style amazingly. He's my new guitar hero. Enjoy.

The show started on time (which is fucking surprising in Italy) at 8:00 with Evile, who played for about 35 minutes or so. The band swap took no longer than 20-25 minutes and Megadeth hit the stage. By the time they finished it was only 10:30 but they played a fuckload of songs. Dave said at the beginning (just like he did 3 years ago in Milan) that they weren't gonna be fucking around or talking much...just a bunch of songs.

Holy shit...they played ASHES IN YOUR MOUTH!!!!! I couldn't believe it.

Kinda surprised that Dave's letting him play the 7-string Ibanez/ENGL combo, considering the Dean and Line6 endorsements that Dave has. I know he made Glen Drover switch to Dean from ESP when Dave dropped that endorsement; pretty sure that Glen originally played Marshalls as well, before the Line6 endorsement deal that Dave got.

Edit: I just looked at the 'Deth site and saw that Dave's using Rocktrons/Marshalls again according to the Gear section...surprising, seeing how he was pimping Line6 majorly during Gigantour 2.

His Dean guitars look retarded. I hate the headstocks. And you will find it does'nt matter what an artist endorses amp wise. What is out on the front line is for show. 99% of the time there is a rack full of gear not containing one bit of endorsed gear. Line 6 sucks ass. For one they sold out their american employees to the chineese, 2 they are about the most unreliable amp out there.
