Being the huge dethhead that I am I had to check this out. I will pre-orderd and will get the cd/dvd soon anyway but I had to try the songs first. Is this another one of those live in the studio jobs or something? :) The sound is just too damn good and the band sounds super tight and Dave himself sounds brilliant. I never thought I'd hear myself say this but Dave's live vocal performance is actually bloody good! He sounds super mean and doesn't go too high and do his wailing cat thing much at all. The sound is crystal clear like I said to the point that you have to wonder about it. The crowd sound is minimal but can be heard here and there chanting and yelling. The best thing about it is the tightness of the band, they don't miss a beat, again making me think some studio trickery has been happening hehe. Either way I don't really care I'd rather have a very good and perfect product than a shitty badly recorded half assed one and this ain't that. I recommend this set over the live in Buenos Aires dvd which I also have but this one sounds more energised and better all round and of course you get all of Rust in Peace live played to perfection almost as good as on the album. Worth to get for Megafans.
