Megadeth - Youthanasia

T' is good, but just in case, if you dont have peace sells but who's buying, rust in peace, countdown to extinction, the world needs a hero, buy those. rust in peace is the best

It is strange that a so called "real fan" wouldn't like all of their material to begin with. I happen to like Youthanasia a lot. It has helped me many years ago. The grooves are heavy. It's like just because they change style a little you all of the sudden hate them. Well listen up people, musical styles change, you can't expect a band to keep putting out the same stuff year after year.

This is the kind of shit that has helped me lose interest in posting.
Opinions are like assholes, everybodies got one, and it's usually shitty. I like all MEGADETH even the dreaded SO FAR....SO GOOD...SO WHAT! But I like each one for their own uniqe sound.
I won't come on here and shove my opinion down your throats
and tell YOU that your musical taste sucks.....just your attitude.

I personally cannot stand rap, I guess there is no accounting for taste though mmm?

Anyways, I like Youthanasia, I just happen to like Killing is my Business, Peace Sells..., Rust In Peace, Countdown To Extinction, and Cryptic writings better. But that I is My Opinion!

And I just expressed my opinion too. Yes, I was being deliberately provocative, and once again, it seems to have worked, making someone bite. I just really don't like Youthanasia.

I've found that everyone has different opinions, and actually everyone's opinion is correct, because it is there own. There are so many bands I like that my friends do not understand why, but to me it is good music. I think The Offspring are a great band. Yea there music is simple, but sometimes the simpler the better. Thet write some good lyrics. I also like Dream Theater, which is some of the most difficult music to play, but they are also good. I could go on, and on, but I wont. I respect everyone's opinion, and as Scott Ian once said, "Everyone's allowed to suck if they want to"

I liked Train of Consequences and A Tout Le Monde, but nothing else on that record. Everything was the same tempo from my recollection... something Dave went on the record to state his chagrin at. He blames Max Norman, I blame it on the fact that there wasn't much focus on the album. I thought Cryptic Writings was a strong, diverse album, but after hearing some tracks on Risk, I gave up on Deth. World Needs a Hero was okay. I love Al Pitrelli's playing, but I'd rather have Dave, Jr., Marty, and Nick. That's my favorite Megadeth Lineup.

I remember buying that album when it first came out after Countdown kicked ass and being really really disappointed with it. I thought that Megadeth was building up to something big, only to take a step back. It WAS boring. Train of Consequenses was a great tune, but after that it fell flat. It just didn't have the "power" of the last two albums. It only lasted a few months on my rack and went to the local record exchange. I haven't bought a Megadeth album since then. RIP will always be the Megadeth album for me, with Countdown not far behind.

You're dead-on with your favorite Megadeth lineup Johnny. That was the best. :spin:
