I have never heard MD, though I have been intruiged and wanted to check them out. I have been afraid of it not being metal enough and being just another CD that seems worthy to have, but that I get no enjoyment from. Not that I only like metal, but it is what I like the best by far.

So how metal is this release, and how metal are their other releases?

I haven´t bought the new album yet, but you can listen to one song - "Immortal Hate" - on their official website. Just scroll down a bit and press the play-button.

On the left side of this page there´s also a small section titled "Music", where you can listen to some songs from previous albums. Just click on the title of the song you want to listen to. Their least metal songs are probably their "cover-versions" of different classical pieces, but most of their own songs are definitely metal, mostly thrash metal.

I haven't heard more than the one track that was posted somewhere...it was excellent, and I'm sure the album (much like the rest of mekong's catalog) is awesome
