heya, what can i do to make this sound better? :zombie:

i don't exactly have the greatest monitor setup, well...not even good really, hah! and a podx3 and toontrack. i've tweaked the kick quite a bit. is it too much? how bout the snare? the guitars are pretty raw, just a wee bit of eq and some TOOB saturation. this song is kind of my tribute to soilwork. one of my favorite bands. they fucking kick ass (especially older stuff!).

That sounds ace! you should try it with impulses and get the pods cab sim to fuck, it'll sound much more real that way

that's really good! I like the drums and guits. the mix isn't 100% clear and tends a bit to the muddy direction but is MORE than acceptable.

i think the muddieness comes from me not having a real bass. the "bass" is my guitar into a preamp, and then pitch shifted down, rofl. i used nuendo's multiband compress to tweak it to kind of sound like a bass.
