Manala is a metal band from Kuopio, Finland. Our genre could be described as Melodic Whatever-you-wish-to-call-it-we-really-don't-care-about-sub-genres Metal. Female vocals, melodic and groovy riffs is the name of the game. Manala stands for the Underworld or the realm of the dead in Finnish mythology.
It's not meant to have any religious symbolism - It just sounds awesome.
