Saw it today. I wish I didn't. I can't believe that with the talent involved, and the fact that it's been five years since the first one (which I love to bits and pieces), that this is all they could come up with. It feels like they did a big-time rush job on it, and if it wasn't for Tommy Lee Jones it would be the biggest piece of rubbish since... oh, I don't know, "A Beautiful Mind", I guess.

I'm a huge Will Smith fan, but he seemed totally lost for the first 20 minutes or so until TLJ showed up.

Disappointing.

Yep, Fresh Prince is one of my favourite shows :)

Ralphe - yep, the dog bits were funny, but I got the feeling that there was a lot of stuff planned for the film which didn't end up being done (apparently the World Trade Centre originally opened up and a spaceship flew out, but obviously that was changed). Far too short for my liking.

I thought Agent M was good in a very small role, though :)

Really dissapointing. Not that I'm a huge fan of the original, but this 'series' has so much potential.
A secret organisation of cool dude dealing with and policing hilarious looking aliens hiding on earth. Millions of cool gadgets and the ability to do anything in front of anyone, flash that little thingy and be off...

But this film (although mildly entertaining) did none of this. :(
The movie took ages to get anywhere, then wa almost in fast forward in reaching the end. Huge holes were left in the plot, characters were not developed, basically nothing was achieved and the film was only 80minutes long.

Somebody screwed up big-time on this one. I bet when the DVD comes out, there'll be at least an extra 30minutes of footage.

Exactly. Men In Black was just begging to be a huge series of great films, but this one has ruined any chance of that happening.
