Can't believe there are no threads about this band yet. Anyways, has anyone heard their latest album Architect of Lies?


Good shit, I tell you. The atmospherics on this one are so thick you can almoust touch them. It's certainly more 'commercial' than The Hours That Remain for whatever that's worth, but I think this suits them well. There's always been this balance between clean vocals/airy atmosphere and harsh vocals/darkness/chugginess, what have you ...

Soul Decision may in fact be the gayest song I've yet heard. "Danish Dynamite" is an appropriate moniker, it sounds like the name of a gay bar.

One of my favourite bands. AoF is definitely a worthwhile album. Listening to it as we speak!

Its definitely a downgrade in heaviness. Yet another band following the trend of getting more mainstream by the album, but I still think its a decent listen.

Mercenary has always had disturbing levels of estrogen. But they're still fucking fun.

11 Dreams and Lost Reality are fantastic.. I'm waiting to hear the new album. Even though I'm not a huge fan of the style they play, some songs are still pretty awesome.

I haven't listened to them since 11 dreams - because the keyboards in that were so high in the mix I felt like I was listening to a japanese console RPG theme tune being played over third rate melodic death metal.

Have they got any better ?
