Merchandise for retail store

Hey Guys, my Wife and I are contemplating opening up a Heavy Metal retail store....Music, Jewelry, and Clothing. My question is where does one go to obtain the actual Music (CDs) and Merchandise?? Should I look into online wholesale stores for both? Try to contact labels for music?? It's the one area we're not really sure where to begin.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I think you have the right idea already. You need to get in contact with wholesale CD distributers and then, if you so choose, smaller labels whose releases you'd like to stock. If you're looking for specifics you're probably in the wrong place. I'm unaware of anyone on this forum who operates a retail CD store.
