Sinquestsound, I love the guitar sound in your mix!

You approached it from an old school perspective too and used the
vocals in a completely different way, which is really cool ; maybe in some places I would have preferred less voices but I like it nevertheless!

I particularly like how you approached the bass guitar, it's a lot more distinct in your mix, great!

Keep'em coming gents & ladies. I'd love to hear a more "modern" mix as well.

Thx Man! :kickass:

Stay Metal!

I'm gonna give this a shot on vocals, great work you guys did. I record vocal covers myself, have been experimenting with Welcome Home, Eye of the Witch, Evil, and Black Horsemen. Mixing them is tricky, especially overdubs. I can do these piercing falsettos, but harmonizing them using these youtube tracks has been tough. Your recording will be much easier to work with. The link to my youtube is in my profile. Just got JBL LSR305 monitors and will have Pro Tools 11 this week to use with Reaper. My best covers are probably Take No Prisoners, Sanitarium, It's So Easy, and Makin Love by Kiss. Also did Beyond the realms, holy wars, Am I Evil, Aint it fun, Ripper, and Victim of Changes along with the two Diamond songs. still working on Eye and Evil. I'll try this one tomorrow if I can.

Do you all take requests? There's so many Priest and King/Mercyful Fate songs I'd like to tackle. Desert Plains, Egypt, Out in the Cold, Dreamer, Reckless, Touch of Evil, Dangerous Meeting, The Trial, LOA House, Heads on the Wall, Headless Rider, quite a lot. Lot of other bands I'd be into doing as well. Also have some originals done in a home studio and some that aren't finished that you could play around with if you want. I don't have the multis bc the engineer couldn't or wouldn't hand them over from his Pro Tools 7 rig.

Keep up the great work

Hi L. Bliss,

You'll find at the the bottom of my signature other covers I did which are more or less the type of songs you're looking for, so feel free to download the raws
and have fun.

Hi!

I have some kind of problem: After that "After Lead" part, nothing fits to midi drums, everything goes really off. Am I the only one..? Is there something wrong with those tempo marks?

..But great tracks anyway!

Hi henryjarv,

That's really weird. I can see Sinquested posted his clip and it
sounds like in mine.

The truth is that there are multiple (and I mean that) tempo changes
as DanLights had to match the tempo of each part to the original.

Are you on Protools ?

Let me know how you get on.
