Though it does help as you don't have to go through the whole, "We'll see YOUR family for X-Mas on even numbered years, and mine on odd numbered ones" as many people I know do.

Jesus wasn't born on Christmas anyway. It was originally a pagan holiday that Constantine (I think) turned into a Christian holiday over 300 years after Jesus' death. That's your little history lesson for today.
