Mesa f100/5150 and MKIII impulses/recabinet -- SSdrums

Sound really good.
more info on gear used and post processing would be awesome!!

Drums:

2x Neumann TLM103 on overheads in XY into Great River MP2-NV and Great River EQ-2NV
2x Neumann KM184's on ride and hats into Avalon VT-737's
Snare is 57 into API3124 along with Slate snare 12 Z1 and Z4 playing along with it... all going through a UAD-1 Neve 33609 and Toft ATB24 for EQ (220hz/1k/4.5k)

Toms are all e609's into API3124 along side with Slate maple kit... all 50% blend with originals.

Kick is 100% replaced with Slate Kick1 I think... I'll have to check that. Kick went through a Pendulum Audio OCL-2 and Great River EQ2-NV for extra attack and I sent the Kick/Snare/Toms to a pair of Distressors for mega extra attack plus boosted some high end (2.5k/5k/10k) at the Toft console.

Guitars are Mesa F-100 and 5150's tracked with Royer 121's and Sm57's (4 mics) as well as Revolver MKIII with the recabinet impulses (Ghandi - first one in librabry) All processing on guitars are Waves SSL plugins, (HPF100hz-boost 3k/5k and LPF15Khz)

Bass is SM57 and Beta56 through the great river MP2-MV and a pair of Distressors and Great River EQ2-NV along side with a DI track going through Revolver MKIII for distortion.

Vocals are tracked 3 times and panned L-C-R with a Soundelux U99 through a Vintech X73 with EQ boost @ 8K and HPF100hz and Purple Audio MC-77 and Distressor. Getting about 15dB gain reduction on the MC77 and another 5-6dB on the distressor. 4:1 ratio on both.

All conversions are via Apogee AD-16X into Nuendo 3.

Mix was Apogee DA16X out into the Toft ATB24 and into a Roll Music System Super Compressor 755 @ 4:1 ratio and attack @ 10ms and release as slow as possible... pulling no more than 2db in gain reduction on loudest peaks.

All went in at 44.1K and mixed to 96K into Alesis Masterlink.

Mastering was URS plugin Strip-Pro (max GR was just barely moving the needle and boost at 500hz, boost at 2.5k and boost at 8k)into Sony Oxford EQ into Gclip twice into Waves L2 into Apogee UV22

I can get more into detail on anything you guys would like to know.

Cheers and thanks for listening!

Wow, you have acces to a lot of cool equipment:OMG:
Any chance you can post a non-myspace link so we can actually appreciate the sound? How do you like the Toft board? Is it an improvement for you compared to ITB mixing?

Works now, thanks.
Very roomy and live sounding for a lack of better words, nice to hear that for a change. The guitars sound a little bit dull to me, but that might just be my personal preference. Overall a nicely balanced mix, everything got its place, nothing is lost or sticks out in an awkward way, good job!
