The band featuring the excellent Mike Tirelli on vocals is back. A bit of a change of style for this album, as overall, the album is leaning towards hard rock/melodic metal than the power metal they used to play. Not a bad thing for me, and I think the album rocks and might be one of their best.

Looks like the band had its share of tragedy in the last few years as well, so we're lucky to have a new album. Glad to see Mike and Georg recovered.

The band had to take a forced hiatus due to vocalist Mike Tirelli’s battle with stage 3 stomach cancer, the same condition that unfortunately took from us Rock legend Ronnie James Dio. And guitarist and songwriter Georg Kraft’s ongoing recovery from long term illness. The band has now returned invigorated, fresh and revitalised.

Check it out.

I'll definitely pick this up....I'm a big fan of Tirelli, who I think is one of the more underrated metal singers. I really liked Holy Mother, and his work with Messiah's Kiss has been top-notch. If I were going to put together the ultimate Dio tribute band, Mike Tirelli would be at the top of the list for vocals....his cover of Holy Diver (with Holy Mother) was incredible.

I agree 100%. I love Holy Mother and I thought that their CD Toxic Rain was highly underrated and their Judas Priest cover of You've got another Thing Comin was awesome. Looking forward to hearing this.

There is talk about Holy Mother, which were fine, but just OK in my book. I thought the first Messiah's Kiss discs had some good songs, even though the albums were somewhat inconsistent and had too mnay double-bass stuff.

Some mid-tempo songs I enjoyed:

And the excellent Holy Mother - Holy Diver cover CBD mentioned:

Definitely a big style change... can't say I'm much of a fan of the new song to be honest, this type of retro hard rock has never really done much for me, probably because I'm too much of a "newcomer" to metal (15 years now, but still not far back in time enough for this stuff) to feel nostalgic for that era.

Did you play both songs? There's a Soundcloud link for another song below the YT link.
