Metal bands that borrow riffs/melodies from famous songs

One funny thing when listening to Epicus Doomicus Metallicus for me as a swede is that one riff in Black Stone Wielder is right out of a famous swedish christmas song, Gläns över sjö och strand. This made me wonder what other metal songs borrow riffs or melodies from famous songs. I'm not talking about stolen riffs from other rock songs or the likes, more in the vein of famous folk songs, or children's lullabies or like the example above a christmas carol etc.
