THIS WEEK ON YOUR CLASSIC METAL SHOW: The guys have been hyping it for a few weeks now as one of the top two albums released thus far in 2006, and now is the time for them to unleash it on you guys. That's right, folks! Metal Church is back with a new album called A LIGHT IN THE DARK, and it is a return to form for the band. Soon to be released on SPV Records, A LIGHT IN THE DARK really reminds of the band's historic past while venturing into new territory. We'll be doing a New Music Listening Party for A LIGHT IN THE DARK, and we're going to try to get in touch with someone in the band as well.
Additionally, a band that most of you missed in the 90s (but Chris didn't) has returned with a great new release. The band is called Halloween (no, not Helloween - HALLOWEEN). They hail from Michigan, and they are a stomping power metal band in the vein of Judas Priest or the like. We'll bring you a New Music Listening Party for their HORROR FIRE release, and we're scheduled to bring vocalist Brian Thomas to the show as well.
