METAL FOR HAITI is a project created by Brazilian metalheads Renato Osorio (MAGICIAN, SCELERATA) and Tiago Masseti (DAYDREAM XI) aiming to raise funds for the reconstruction of Haiti. The idea was to write a song and gather a large group of musicians, involving various bands from the south of Brazil, to record for a good cause and help people through heavy metal music.

The will to help Haiti gave birth to 'Don't Lose Hope', a single available for streaming at http://www.myspace.com/metalforhaiti

Metal fans willing to to help can buy the single on iTunes and [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Dont-Lose-Hope/dp/B003TSBTD2]Amazon[/ame] with all proceeds going toward Haiti reconstruction and assistance foundations.

"When a whole country
Lies broken on the ground
And you see the bodies laying there
Without making a sound
Make an effort
The smallest act of a healthy, wealthy person
Can become the light of hope to the needed, desperate eyes
Of those who cry
Of those who die"

Since it's not a "shameless self promotion" thread, but something to try to help a country I decided to post it here, I hope the mods won't mind. If you do, please move it to the proper section.
