2) The next person to answer the thread will decide which band they would rather listen to.

3) The person that answers the thread will then list 2 bands for the next person to decide between.

4) . . . and so on and so on.

That's kind of tough, because I like both bands' early material and not as much their latter. I guess I'll go with Carcass because they evolved the most.

Shame on YOU for not knowing either of these bands...Thryfing is the greatest Viking metal band on the planet right now, and Finntroll is a wacked-out metallic hybrid of Finnish polka music (known as "huumpa" - I kid you not) and folkish black metal. BOTH RULE!!!!!

Now someone make a damn choice!

It's "humppa", dude. Funnily enough most finnish names for musical genres have _exactly_ two vowels -- at the second and last positions -- and are exactly six letters long... or to be more precise, most genres have names like that _in addition_ to others.

But Finntroll has accordions so I'll have to pick that.
