I HAVE PLAYED METAL GUITAR FOR 18 YEARS! METAL IS THE ONLY MUSIC THAT I ENJOY PLAYING. LUCKILY IT INCORPORATES SUCH A WIDE VARIETY OF STYLES THAT IT MAKES PLAYING EXCITING CHALLENGING AND INTERESTING.
BANDS LIKE BLACK SABBATH- OZZY- JUDAS PRIEST TO METALLICA- SLAYER - MEGADETH ARE THE TOP GUITAR METAL BANDS I ENJOY PLAYING ALONG TO. THESE BANDS GIVE ME MY MUSICAL DIRECTION.

MY AMP IS A MARSHALL 9200 100/100, THE BEST AMP EVER MADE!
MY PRE AMP IS A MARSHALL JMP-1, THE BEST PRE AMP EVER MADE!
MY EFFECTS PROCESSOR IS AN ELESSIS 2101 ARTIST.
I USE A JACKSON V AND IBANEZ S-SERIES.

MISSION STATEMENT
I WOULD LIKE TO APPLY FOR A GUITAR PLAYING JOB WITH DAVE MUSTAINE OF MEGADETH. I KNOW I HAVE THE TALENT AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE JOB.
I HAVE JUST MOVED TO ORANGE COUNTY 8/6/04 TO PLAY MUSIC ON A REGULAR BASIS.

Hi everyone.

We hate starting new threads when there are already some that fit the topic, so, we picked this one cause three of us are guitarists.
We were drawn here from a link from Mr. Blevins' Record Label site:

We first heard about the site and the e-zine from our friends.
We're a progressive/power metal band looking for distribution, etc., and MetalAges Records seems to be our kind of label, so we started looking for more info and found this website and forum.

There seem to be some really hardcore fans here, of good bands and quite a few people who know their metal.
Good to see that in this day and age.
