this mix has no low end, so it feels really lacking. then the synth/piano/whatever kicks in and just sits there..! you can't really hear anything.

I take your point about the low end. I wanted the kick drum more apparent and it was really difficult with the guitars and bass tuned so low, all fighting each other. Maybe I over-compensated a bit?

About the 'synths' (its actually all guitars ), do you mean they 'just sit there' from a compositional stand point? They're really not supposed to be a lead line or anything, more atmospheric.

I also agree. Its really lacking some lows, and I think that those guitars that come in should be behind the rhythm guitars, they're somewhat annoying because they come out of nowhere.
