Cliff Burton Day 2025 celebrated the life, music, and legacy of Castro Valley’s own Clifford Lee Burton. Fans gathered at the beautiful Chabot Theater to hear stories from Cliff’s family, friends and former bandmates.
The event held live performances from Trauma, True Temper, plus the 2025 Cliff Burton Scholarship Fund recipients and many more.
The event was held on February 8 while Cliff Burton Day is officially celebrated on February 10 – Burton’s day of birth.
Cliff Burton Day is a celebration of the legendary Metallica bassist that started in 2018 in Castro Valley following the official proclamation of Alameda County.
