On March 11, 2025, Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich will be joining Apple Music’s Zane Lowe at SXSW for a session at the Austin Convention Center titled “Breaking The Fourth Wall”. Lars and Zane will examine the band’s unique relationship with fans and how Metallica continues to use new technology to elevate the fan experience, including bringing that connection into the live performance.
