To arrive in Auckland for METALLICA's October 13 concert in style, Christchurch fans took over an Air New Zealand plane for a special "METALLICA-themed flight." According to The Sydney Morning Herald, more 100 black-clad, gothic leather-wearing metal fans took advantage of the $NZ1 (approximately USD $54) "grabaseat" deal to fly to the band's third New Zealand concert.
