Hey!

You guys seen this stuff on YouTube? It was pretty cool with Jason and Rob playing together on stage.

One thing I did notice though was that Hetfield seemed to really be struggling on some parts vocally (maybe he was having an off-day, I know how that feels!). Anyone else notice this? Or is it just me?

I've seen them live a couple of times this year though and they've been pretty much flawless both times.

Nope, I noticed it too. He really has trouble getting those high notes now days it seems. On another note though this is the first time in a while I've heard Kirk actually pretty much nail the solo without abusing the wah.

Having both bass guits at the same time sounded pretty dreadful in the Fuse mix... but otherwise pretty neat for the R'n'R-HOF, which is kinda a joke on it's own if you think about the bands who haven't been inducted yet... and props to James for mentioning some of these bands!

haha....wow, I can totally imagine lars being like:

"I want a compressor on the sum....preferably triggered by my drums....so everything else gets pretty much inaudible when I hit something."

Hahaha some funny posts this thread.

Don't get me wrong, I aint dissing Metallica or James at all - I'm a BIG fan! It was just something I noticed recently that's all. Still a cool performance!

Must be a bit of a bummer though, to be all hyped up for your entry into the Hall of Fame and then you have a bit of a hard time hittin' those notes!

We're all human at the end of the day though. I think I sometimes forget that, when looking up to those that have had such a big inspiration on me.
