No Kirk Hammet guitar solos can ONLY be a good thing. I was kinda hopeful when I read that all the songs had long playing times (like 8 minutes apiece), but if they're all gonna be repetitious... well, hmm. I dunno. Its not like I should expect much from a band who's best release in 14 years was an all-covers album.

I just saw the link on another good music log I read. Yes, it really is quite interesting.

dude kirk is one of my biggest influences!

granted his solos have gone kind of downhill lately but still he rules!

I dunno... Kirk's solos kinda strike me as anti-climatic. He does have a few good ones on the And Justice album, but...? I don't like his style.
