Because of 9/11, the tour got postponed and the band turned to focussing on the new studio album and securing a new label instead. When the tour was rescheduled, they did not record anything (to my knowledge), so I imagine Metallus Maximus will be postponed, to be recorded at some point while touring in support of We've Come For You All, although I don't think that's been confirmed.

It seems like lately everytime a band goes with Sanctuary they put out a live album. Megadeth, Queensryche, Halford, COC, Ministry...
Maybe Anthrax will follow and put one out after the next tour.
