People have been bitching about how the forum threads have lately been lame and not about the band, i agree. So i decided to start this thread.

I thought how clever of the guys to refrence their first two albums ("Sorrow Throughout The Nine Worlds" and "Once Sent From The Golden Hall") as well as a refrence to one of their first demos "Thor Arise" in the track Metalwrath.

I'm sure most of you have probably noticed this but i thought it was something cool that some may not have caught onto, plus its about the band and it's music, so if you dont like this thread you can go die. I underlined the parts that refrence the 2 albums.

If anyone has something similar to this that they have found in AA music it would be cool to post.

And i didnt want to start a new thread on the matter cuz i know a lot of you would get your panties in a bunch but whats the story behind "Risen from the Sea" and it's lyrics?

Risen from the sea is the only song Johan H. ever wrote that has to do with Satan and he hates the lyrics, so he decided not to put them in the jacket. As for the lyrics for metalwrath... I had heard them before (obviously) and heard a few references but never thought much of it so I never checked the lyrics but thats pretty cool.
I CANT WAIT FOR THE NEW ALBUM!!! Oh I was watching TV, digital cable, and I was on the Music Choice Metal channel and they were playing Metalwrath. Thought that was interesting and a nice surprise.

in an interview johan said that the metalwrath lyrics are just a joke about the power metal scene exspecially hammerfall

Maybe even Johan didnt realize he refreneced all those songs. :/

It is well done, I had noticed the ones referring to Once sent... but not the other ones. The lyrics are very good and Johan is definitely very talented.

I wasnt doubting his genius. He actually said those things himself in an interview that I read

they did something like that on "Vs the world" in the first line: "One we were scum of the Earth" this is cool because they were originaly called scum right?

Maybe Johan is trying to send us some secret messages. I wonder if there is one that says that the venues in Tampa suck big mexican donkey balls.
